Mayor & Council Members
Corrigan is not standing still—we are moving forward with purpose, pride, and momentum.
We invite you to be part of our journey.
Johnna Lowe Gibson
Mayor@cityofcorrigan.com
Mayor Gibson has dedicated many years to serving the Corrigan community through various leadership roles, including service on the City Council from May 2005 to 2007 and again from May 2011 to 2016, as well as serving on the Corrigan-Camden Independent School District Board of Trustees from May 2008 to 2011. Her commitment to public service reflects a deep passion for the people and the future of Corrigan.
One of Mayor Gibson’s most notable accomplishments was leading the effort to secure the official designation of Corrigan as the “Timber Products Capital of Texas.” Through her vision, persistence, and collaboration with state leaders, local businesses, and community stakeholders, the designation was approved by the Texas Legislature and signed into law by the Governor. This historic achievement recognizes Corrigan’s longstanding connection to the timber industry and reinforces the city’s important role in one of Texas’ most vital economic sectors.
Working alongside City Manager Paloma Carbajal, the City is focused on strengthening operations, improving essential services, and positioning Corrigan for long-term success. Together, they are implementing efficient, responsive systems that better serve residents while supporting growth and opportunity.
