History of Corrigan
Corrigan was officially incorporated in 1938. While the lumber industry has always remained an important part of its story, the town has also built a strong identity through its schools, churches, civic clubs, and community events.
Today, Corrigan is officially recognized as the Timber Products Capital of Texas. The city continues to honor its railroad and timber heritage while welcoming new residents and visitors to enjoy the small-town charm and community pride that have defined it for more than a century.
